Subject: - exit with $? instead of 1 in case of failure

- exit with $? instead of 1 in case of failure
- exit with $? if ./configure failed
  (that's so autogen.sh && make lines work)
- removed --enable-gtk-doc option
- added $AUTOGEN_CONFIGURE_ARGS
